Position Title:  Marketing Coordinator
Division: Compliance Navigation Specialists, Northern Insurance Specialists
Location:  Lititz, PA
Reports To: Vice President of Business Development

Position Overview: The purpose of this marketing position is to ensure consistent and on-brand messaging for Compliance Navigation Specialists, Northern Insurance Specialists, and all future transportation-related endeavors, and strengthen the position of CNS and NIS as a top-of-mind resource for the transportation industry locally and across the United States in a variety of markets and mediums. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing new media campaigns, strategic and promotional programs, and public relations outreach that will result in increased awareness of the safety consulting firm and insurance agency. This position reports to the Vice President of Business Development.

 Primary Responsibilities and Duties

This position will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Social Media platforms and leverage them to increase awareness of CNS and NIS brands, provide timely customer service and responses to questions from specialists, and engage clients and prospective clients with the goal of translating interactions into sales.
  • Oversee Search-Engine-Optimization (SEO) efforts through website keywords and mapping. Prepare and present SEO trend reports monthly to executive team.
  • Create industry-relevant, and sub-industry targeted news blog postings daily for website and social media accounts.
  • Manage all email marketing strategies, including newsletters and special email promotions/campaigns
  • Edit website graphics and content as needed.
  • Collaborate with agencies to create branded collateral including brochures and advertisements.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on client demographic information and service revenues weekly and present information to executive team.
  • Assist the VP of Business Development and other relevant departments to evaluate and recommend pricing structure changes based on researched industry trends.
  • Research and seek public relations outreach opportunities through local and industry-specific publications and networking events

Secondary/ Back-Up Support and Responsibilities and Duties

This position will have the following support role responsibilities:

  • Greeting and welcoming clients at the reception area
  • Answering phone lines and transferring clients to proper departments

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher level of education, preferably in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
  • Knowledge or experience within the transportation industry, or a willingness to learn more about the industry



Position Title: Medical Examiner
Division: Compliance Navigation Specialists
Reports To: CEO
Classification: Non-Exempt, Part-Time Position  

Position Overview: The Medical Examiner manages the Medical Exam process for DOT examinations and PA School Bus Exams exclusively. 

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

This position will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Provide DOT physical examinations per FMCSA guidelines and expectations
  • Provide Pennsylvania School Bus examinations per state guidelines and expectations
